They just took Mom back to finish up the last 20% of the surgery. Mom was awake & frustrated before the anesthesia team medicated her. Hoping they are able to extubate her this afternoon or evening. Depends how long surgery takes today.

Just talked to Millie and will check on her later today as she is anxiously waiting to hear about her baby girl (and no, you never outgrow being your mom's baby.... LOL). Sending prayers for Brenda and for all of you. Thank you Rebekah for keeping us updated.

Praying that this will all be over for her soon, and worth all of the pain and struggle!!!! I miss my sweet, dear, best friend and can't wait to have her back.....whole again, without all of the pain and medications that were so hard on her!!! I know the road ahead isn't going to be easy for her, but prayerfully, expecting it to be worth it!!!! Rebekah, I'm soooo glad that you stayed to be there with your Dad!! He needs somebody there with him and I know you have been such a comfort........he has been through a lot too, as have all of you!! I know it's difficult for you to be away from your sweet babies and hubby, but I believe that sacrifice your family is making earns you an extra jewel in your crown!!!!! Hang in there!! Give my friend a hug and kiss for me!!! Take care and know that ALL of ou are in my prayers!!!
