So far the surgery has been a success but they are not able to complete the surgery tonight because of needing 4 more hours to complete. I am posting so far before & after pictures. Mom will stay intubated tonight in ICU & then hopefully will be extubated tomorrow afternoon. Pray for comfort these next few days. The next surgery will be Tuesday. Will update in the morning.

Sorry they couldn't complete the surgery today. Did I understand right . . . no more surgery until Tuesday? I wish they could finish tomorrow.
Hope the tube comes out tomorrow. I'm sure you're wanting to do some talking.

Father, please be with Brenda, watch over her and protect her from anything that could go wrong... Help to reduce any swelling and prevent any dangerous blood clots. Please encourage her when she hears that they will have to do more surgery, for she was not expecting that. Father. Please reduce her pain and help her spirit during the waiting period. Protect her Dr. Give him your eyes, work through his hands to ease Brenda's pain and to straighten her spine. Bless all three kids and Blane as they wait. Because of Jesus I cry out. Bev. ReplyDeleteWow, just know I'll continue to pray for Brenda, her doctors and other healthcare staff. Praying for Blane and his strength and encouragement. Praying for you kids, I know this has to be so hard for all of you. Praying for Brenda' comfort and peace as all this unfolds in the next few days.
